Air fryers have become increasingly popular in recent years. No wonder, because you can prepare a lot in the air fryer. The good thing about it: The whole thing works without fat or oil.

But in addition to fries and nuggets, you can prepare a lot more in the deep fryer. For example our delicious, crunchy avocado snack. Of course we have the right dip to go with it.

This is how the avocado snack works

You can easily prepare our avocado snack in the hot air fryer. The little snacks are super tasty and really crispy. But still creamy-soft on the inside. You can read what you need here.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Avocado
  • lemon juice
  • 3 EL MEHL
  • 2 tbsp yeast flakes (usually available in drugstores)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 60 – 70 ml plant-based drink (e.g. oat or almond drink)
  • 60g breadcrumbs

Preparation:

  1. Peel the avocado and chop it into eighths. Drizzle them with a little lemon juice.
  2. Mix the flour, yeast flakes, salt, paprika powder, garlic powder and the plant drink into a mixture.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate.
  4. Now place the avocado pieces in the creamy mixture and then bread them with breadcrumbs.
  5. Then put them in the Airfryer and let them bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

Which dip to go with fried avocados?

While the avocado pieces are slowly frying in the hot air fryer, you can devote yourself to the appropriate dip. You can prepare this quickly and easily while you're at it.

Ingredients dip:

  • 200 g Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp tomato paste
  • some salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 tsp grated marjoram

Preparation:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and puree it.
  2. Then season with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice.

Watch out! The avocado snacks are really addictive. As a healthy snack in the evening, the superfood is the perfect alternative to chips and the like.
