  • 2 oranges
  • 2 apples
  • 2 Pomegranate Error
  • 2 bottles of fruity white wine (1 liter each)
  • 200 ml apple cider (sweet apple cider)
  • 1 cup cranberries (about 200g)

  • 4 sprigs of rosemary

Preparation:Peel the pomegranates and cut the remaining fruit into small pieces. Mix all the ingredients together and let it steep for about 3-4 hours. Finally garnish with rosemary and serve.

Of course, a delicious Christmas jam should not be missing to round it all off. This recipe makes about 14 smaller glasses. You can also simply halve the quantities.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg frozen strawberries
  • 500g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2kg sugar
  • approx. 8 g liquid pectin

Preparation:
Puree strawberries and cranberries finely or coarsely to taste. Transfer mixture to a saucepan and add sugar over medium heat. Then let everything boil for 1 minute.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the pectin while stirring. Allow the jam to cool for 5 minutes and then scrape off the foam. Pour the jam into jars, leaving about half a centimeter of space from the edge.

Wipe rims and close jars. Then leave the glasses in the water bath for another 10 minutes.

  • 750 g Flour
  • 300 ml warm milk
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 120g sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 2 Owner
  • 1 good pinch of salt
  • 300 g mixed walnuts
  • 2 Eiweiss
  • 120g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 60 ml eggnog
  • 250 g powdered sugar and approx. 5 to 6 tablespoons eggnog for the icing
  • Almond flakes for sprinkling

Preparation:
Melt butter in warm milk and dissolve yeast in it. Put the flour, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl and add the milk, melted butter and yeast. Add eggs and knead everything into a smooth dough for 10 minutes. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Beat the egg white until stiff and mix with the sugar and cinnamon. Add walnuts and eggnog and mix well. Then roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread it with the walnut eggnog filling. Roll up lengthwise and cut horizontally, twist the halves together and form a wreath. Cover and let the wreath rise again for 20 minutes.

Bake at 160 degrees hot air for 45 minutes. Now mix the powdered sugar with the remaining eggnog to make a icing and spread it over the cooled yeast wreath. Garnish with flaked almonds and serve.
