And since there are so many different options for a real fairytale wedding, today we would like to not only show you a few inspiring pictures from such weddings, but also provide you with a few tips and ideas for the theme. Hopefully this will make your decision and the subsequent planning for the “fairy tale” and Disney themed wedding easier for you.

Fairytale wedding with forest fairies as the theme

A fairytale wedding doesn't necessarily have to refer to a specific fairytale. Simply choose a fairytale location in a forest, on a romantic meadow or in a park anddesign the decoras natural and wild as possible. The aim is to create an atmosphere reminiscent of a fairy world. Ornate chairs, ivy, flowers in subtle colors, vintage furniture and accessories, fairy lights and candles are just a small selection of things suitable for a fairytale fairy theme. The furniture should be made of wood or white wrought iron and, like any other fairytale wedding decoration, should be natural.

There is also a rule regarding the wedding dress. Avoid very elegant and too simple dresses if you are having a fairytale wedding. Instead, choose lace, lush tulle skirts or colorful models in subtle shades such as light blue, pink, pastel yellow, gold or pastel red. Hair accessories in the form of flowers or a small golden crown, a tiara or a chain are also a wonderful idea to achieve a fairytale flair.

It is very popular to celebrate a Disney wedding. Disneyland is often chosen as the location, but not everyone and certainly not all guests have the opportunity to go on such a trip. Instead, you can celebrate the wedding at another location of your choice. And with the large selection of Disney fairy tale films, you can find something to suit every taste. Whether Snow White, Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty – the choice is yours. Each of these themes is naturally associated with specific color combinations, accessories and outfits. We have put together a few fairy tale ideas for you that briefly describe everything important and make planning a Disney fairy tale wedding easier.

Sleeping Beauty

Let's start with a popular topic and that is Sleeping Beauty. The name suggests it and anyone who knows the fairy tale knows exactly that roses should be the main flowers here. These make it difficult for the prince to get to his beautiful princess in order to kiss her awake. You can choose the roses in red as you like, but also in subtle pink, peach or white. That doesn't matter. Not only a castle is perfect as a location, but also a castle garden or another beautiful garden that shouldn't be too wild. A French garden, for example, is well suited.

The dress should be typically princess-like, i.e. with a wide tulle skirt made of several layers. A subtle color is recommended here. Anyone who remembers the Disney film knows that the film ends with an argument between the good fairies, who constantly dye Sleeping Beauty's dress in their favorite color. Blue and pink are therefore great colors for Disney wedding dresses, but a colorful model can also be chosen if you are particularly brave. The hair can be pinned up or worn delicately open or half-open with large, subtle curls.

Disney's Snow White

A Snow White Disney wedding isn't difficult to create. The color red is the main color here and can be chosen and combined in different shades. Black and white (“Skin as white as snow, lips as red as flowers and hair as black as ebony”) are great as additional colors. Since most of the fairytale takes place in a forest, this is also the perfect location for this type of fairytale wedding.Decorate with branches, roses, red dahlias, chrysanthemums or similar flowers. Of course, the red apple should not be missing as part of the decoration, which can adorn not only the tables but also the Disney wedding cake. Be sure to put up mirrors too. There are different options for the dress: A classic white with pretty red floral motifs or instead flower decorations for the hair and a red bridal bouquet with the white dress. If you have the courage to do something unusual, you can also choose an all-red wedding dress or a red skirt.

Cinderella fairytale wedding

Subtle shades of blue are best suited for Cinderella. This applies to the Disney wedding dress and accessories as well as the bridesmaids, flowers and other decorations. Combine them when decoratingblue color as desired with silveror gold or even better with rose gold. A typical symbol for this fairy tale are, among other things, the glass slippers. Since you are unlikely to find them, you can instead choose shoes in silver or, even better, with lots of rhinestones and glittering stones. A location with a castle atmosphere is best for this fairytale wedding.

Beauty and the Beast as a Disney theme

The main colors this time are yellow and red, due to Belle's signatureyellow dressand the red rose. Yellow can be wonderfully replaced with gold to create an even more elegant atmosphere. But royal blue can also be included, as the prince wears this color. Accordingly, a beautiful yellow ball gown with a wide skirt is also best suited as a wedding dress, although variations are also possible. The red rose, which is displayed under a glass dome, should not be missing from the decoration. Beautiful, simple vintage tableware in the form of cups and jugs can also be used for table decorations and in the form of vases. A beautiful ballroom or castle hall is most suitable for this fairytale wedding.

Alice in Wonderland

A fairytale wedding with the theme “Alice in Wonderland” can be pretty crazy and unusual. Admittedly, this isn't your typical princess wedding, but it's still very popular. Vintage tea cups should not be missing from this Disney wedding decoration. Decorated with beautiful floral motifs or something similar, stacked on top of each other, used as hanging decorations or whatever else you can think of - you can do anything with them. There should also be a lot of clocks to decorate the location. You are also welcome to use the colors and motifs of the Queen of Hearts for the wedding decoration. It's all a matter of taste.

And when it comes to the wedding location, the garden is of course the most suitable and especially the French garden with perfectly cut and shaped hedges and bushes. If you don't have the opportunity to celebrate an outdoor wedding, at least ensure there is plenty of greenery in the hall. Short fairytale wedding dresses that fall just below the knees are the best choice here. Models in the 50s style are very suitable for this.
