Try delicious lemon cookies for Easter that you can prepare with your children as they are really easy to bake. Plus, decorating with colorful glazes will add extra fun to your kids.
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 65g soft butter
- 100g powdered sugar
- 1 No
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- grated lemon peel of half a lemon
- 1 vanilla packet
Quick preparation
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Sift flour and baking powder. Add salt, egg, lemon juice and zest and the butter in pieces. A crumbly dough is created. Add the milk to form a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough (5 mm thick) and cut it out using shapes suitable for Easter.
- Spread the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake until they turn slightly pink. Allow to cool.
- Decorate the finished cookies with different icings as desired.
Cut out and decorate
You can then decorate the finished cookies as you wish. You can make icing for this purpose. This can easily be colored with food coloring. Then brush the cooled cookies with the colored icing. If you feel like it and have suitable piping bags at hand, you can also add pretty motifs such as flowers or even butterflies.
