Baking and decorating Easter cookies with children

Easter is a special time, not only because of the meaning, symbolism and traditions it brings, but also because of the spring feelings it awakens in us. Make this time unforgettable for your family and your children by baking Easter cookies together. Follow a recipe to make the cookies or use refrigerated cookie dough. Ingredients:
125g soft butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 TL Vanilleextrakt
1 1/2 cups flour
1-2 tablespoons of milk

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
4-5 teaspoons of water

Using an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.

Add flour and milk and stir with a wooden spoon untila soft dougharises. Knead the dough on a floured work surface.

Divide the dough in two. Form each piece into a ball – 10cm in diameter. Wrap the balls separately in parchment paper and refrigerate for 40 minutes.

Preheat oven to 160°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Roll out the dough, about 5 mm. Cut out the shapes and place the cookies on the baking tray and let them cool again.

Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.

Frosting: Combine the powdered sugar and water to form a thick mixture. Add a few drops of food coloring. Stir until everything is well mixed. And the glazing can begin!
