You probably know the popular crackers that are filled with various small gifts, at least from films. But have you ever popped one? If not, but you feel like it, you can take the opportunity this New Year's Eve and make crackers for everyone present. We have prepared great instructions for you here that will make the project a breeze. Start making crackers as soon as possible on New Year's Eve, because there isn't much time left before the festival.
– Sheet of paper A4 format
– Disposable aluminum baking pan
– Bang cord
– Toilet paper rolls
– Glue
– Cord
– Black and whiteNail polish
– Spit
Have the sheet of paper and the roasting skewer ready. Fill the baking pan with warm water. Add several drops of white nail polish to the water.
Then add several drops of black nail polish to the white nail polish. With these stepsYou should hurry up so that you can finish before the nail polish dries in the water.
Now use the spit to carefully spread the varnish so that a typical marble effect is created. You may already be familiar with this technique from various marble effect nail designs. Apply them in the same way.
Next you will need the piece of paper. Place this on the surface of the water so that the paint sticks to the paper. Be careful not to submerge the paper under the water.
Now prepare the toilet paper rolls. You will need three pieces, with the middle part being slightly larger than the two outer ones. Arrange these so that they take up the longer side of the paper and a narrow margin remains on both sides.
In this step to make crackers for New Year's Eve, you place a cracker cord in the rolls. Glue the rolls to the long side of the sheet. Remember that the marble side should be on the outside. You should then give the future cracker some time to dry.
Once the glue has dried, wrap the rolls with the paper. At the other edge, add glue to the paper again and let it dry. You are almost finished now.
You can now fold the excess edge of the paper inwards so that the roll is hidden and a prettier look is created for the cracker. Now you can fill the cracker with sweets and small gifts. Of course, lots of confetti shouldn't be missing either. All of these things should be in the middle role. For this purpose, you can first tie the candy on one side and then fill it.
Once you're done, you can tie the free area between the rolls with string. And you're done. You can of course make as many crackers as you like. The more the better!
This is what it should ultimately look like. The great thing is that each cracker has an individual design thanks to the marble pattern. The combination of black and white looks very elegant and is perfect for New Year's Eve. But all other colors are also suitable.
The crackers make wonderful table decorations and at the same time delight all the guests present. They make perfect small party favors and lift the mood.
You can also use ready-made, colorful wrapping paper to wrap the crackers instead of marble paper. In this way they don't become quite as personal. However, you can save time if you don't have much left before the festival.
