To complete one of these DIY projects, you'll need some essential tools and supplies. To paint larger areas, you need a paint roller or flat brush. You can create fine patterns by using smaller paint brushes. You still need tape, a pencil and newspaper to hang up.
Decorative stripes seem to be a common idea for wall design with color, but it is this color combination and the play with the width of the stripes that makes it so much more attractive. These colors (yellow, green, blue and anthracite) look best on a white or light wall. First you need to determine the widths of the strips using a ruler and pencil. Then press strips of paper tape onto the mark to define the boundaries of individual panels. Then the selected colors are applied into the gap between the tape strips. Finally, when the paint has dried, remove the tape.
