Make your own tassel earrings
The earrings are a simple way to enhance the simple look. They are available in a wide variety of variations, lengths and made from different materials such as yarn, fringes or beads. You can even make some yourself without much effort and design them according to your taste. We have selected three simple instructions for you: with embroidery thread, with brass jump rings and with beads (seed beads).

For this idea, in addition to embroidery thread of any color, you will also need scissors, a large needle and two earring hooks. You can make the tassels as large and long as you like. To do this, you need to consider how long you want your earrings to be. You can also use two, three or just one tassel for each earring - accordingly, more or less embroidery thread is required.
Now make a few tassels or optionally – just one. If you have decided on the variant with several tied together, it is better to make them short and lush. To do this, use more embroidery thread and simply cut the tassels shorter. To make all the tassels beautiful and the same, we recommend using a small piece of cardboard and wrapping the yarn around it. Just pay attention to how many times you wrap it around so that all the tassels end up being the same size.
Once you've made the little tassels, all you have to do is tie them together. In the example, 3 tassels are used for each earring. But you can also use more or less, depending on how long you want the earrings to be. Now connect the tassels by taking a needle with the same thread and sewing the tassels together. Attach the hook at the top and tie tightly.
You can design the accessories in one color or in two or three shades. It's best to match the colors of the earrings to a specific outfit.

These homemade earrings with brass details look a little more complex, but really beautiful. You can do it yourself without much effort and you will find out how to do it below. You will need: knitting yarn in any color, brass wire approx. 0.6 - 1 mm thick, brass beads or other jewelry elements, earring hooks, jewelry pliers and a ruler.
First you need to consider how big the earrings should be. Take two pieces of wire of equal length and bend them into a ring. To get an even shape, you can use tools such as a cylinder or a cosmetic bottle with a suitable diameter.
Use jewelry pliers to make a small loop in one end of the wire. Leave the other straight so that the brass beads can be threaded through. You should end up with a jump ring with a loop at the end.
Now add the decorative elements and then the tassels in between. In the picture you can see how best to attach the tassels to the jump ring. Finally, the other end of the jump ring is formed into a loop and the earring hook is attached to it.
Finally, you can cut the tassels. It looks very good when the earrings are not too long and do not reach the shoulders. Note that the earring hook also adds a little (approx. 1.5 cm) to the overall length. Our recommendation is to cut the tassels as long as the jump ring. Thus, the earring will look balanced and aesthetic.
If you like smaller tassels better, put several in different colors and form a larger jump ring.

Silk or embroidery thread is mainly used for this jewelry. Other cords or cords can also be used, but they are not available in as many colors. Embroidery thread, on the other hand, is available in all possible shades. It is also made of cotton and therefore feels very comfortable on the skin. However, tassel earrings can be made without embroidery thread. Instead, small beads - seed beads are threaded and tied together.
Making tassel earrings with beads is just as easy as the other yarn options we showed above. Instead of colored yarn, beads or seed beads in any color are used. You can create beautiful tassels by stringing many small beads onto several pieces of cord and then putting them together.
Seed beads come in all sorts of colors and you can use them to create very beautiful ombre effects. Put two or three colors together and stagger the beads at the transition between the colors.
The specific thing is that a special decorative element should be attached to the end where the individual chains are tied together. This works as a kind of connection and ties the pearl tassel with the ear studs, clips or hooks.
