White marble, glass and natural wood create Mediterranean harmony

Marble is a noble material that can even be described as classic. Widely used today, it still impresses with its naturalness and uniqueness. Thanks to new technologies, it is now possible to implement designs that were considered impossible just a few years ago. BLANKPAGE Architects together with Karim Nader Studio designed a modern multi-storey house on the beach in Lebanon (a small state between Syria and Israel, located on the Mediterranean). White marble, glass and light natural wood make the interior of this wonderful home shine.

Modernly integrate white marble outdoors and indoors

Inside and outside, the beautiful house appears very bright and impresses with its offset architecture that faces the Mediterranean. Since the walls in each room are made of glass on at least two sides, you can always enjoy a wonderful view. Through theCombination of white marble and glassAn ultra-light appearance is created that, together with the exotic plants, conjures up a Mediterranean harmony.

formediterrane Note

The dream house basically consists of two buildings that are connected to each other on each living level. Beautiful terraces offer breathtaking views of the sea, the coast or the rocky landscape in the other direction. The many green plants on every terrace, balcony and railing create a wonderful atmosphere, like hanging gardens facing the sea.

The designers created theInterior and exterior in delicate, wonderful white tones, which use restored white marble to create a special structure that enlivens the surfaces and doesn't make them look bare and boring. This is not an artificial stone, but a natural product made from small pieces of light marble that are bonded with cement using a special process.

On the ground floor there is a lounge area with a casual living area, the upholstery of which is very similar to the marble structure. An art installation, also in white, hangs from the ceiling in conjunction with the side tables on the floor. This area is a kind of intermediate space that can be opened to the outside through floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors or separated from the garden.
