The research for the filmA Complete Unknownled costume designer Arianne Phillips to Levi's again and again. Bob Dylan wore the jeans regularly. Finally, Levi's Vintage Clothing collaborated on the film's production to make Timothée Chalamet's costumes look as true to the original as possible. For example, there is the legendary oneby Bob Dylan. His girlfriend at the time, Suze Rotolo, had added inserts to the hem of the Levi's jeans so that they could fit over the boots. As part of theLevi's Vintage Clothing x A Complete UnknownThese jeans are now being re-released in the collection. The insert is made of a different colored denim fabric and actually looks like it was sewn in afterwards. The three-piece collection also includes a cognac suede jacket and a leather belt with a D-shaped buckle.

Even though the collection is small and only contains three pieces, what is special about it is the infinite number of small and loving details. In collaboration with Universal Music Group and Searchlight Pictures, original lyrics and film stills were included in the collection. Lines of text can be found in the pockets of the jeans, on the packaging and in the watch pocket of the jeans there is a printed note: "I'll let you be in my dreams, if I can be in yours". This is a lyric from an early Bob Dylan song. With so much attention to detail, the Levi's Vintage Clothing x A Complete Unknown collection became something very personal and special.
When is the collection available?
The Levi's Vintage Clothing x A Complete Unknown collection is strictly limited and will be available online and in selected Levi's stores from January 17th, in time for the film's release in the UK. The prices are not yet known.
