Nowadays it seems that series have to go completely viral within the first day, otherwise you will not get any further season. “The Empress” (ends)
Breathe: the successful seriesDoesn't just end suddenly after the second season, but Netflix ordered a third and last season to really finish it. The German series also had great success - so it was no surprise that we got a second season. With the third there is an exciting final - in which year the series ends, we don't know yet!
“The Sandman” (cancer/ends)
Unsurprisingly, this is not surprising: After the allegations that came up against Neil Gaiman, his series “The Sandman” now comes to an end. Here, however, it is unsure whether the series was really canceled - or simply ends. The industry magazineVarietyHowever, it reported that it was already clear in 2023 that this sequel (sometimes it was not even called second season) would be the last.
Showrunner Allan Heinberg confirms that there are no longer enough material to continue. Nothing will change that, because the Dark Horse publishing house ended the collaboration with Gaiman after the allegations had arisen against him for sexual abuse.
"The Recruit" (Cancel)
That was a surprise: “The Recruit” withwas canceled at short notice after less than five weeks after the publication of the second season. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” (endet)
In the summer of 2025 we can look forward to the third season of “The summer when I became beautiful”. However, with a laughing and a crying eye, because: this will also be the final. However, this should not come too surprising, because the book template also has three parts that were implemented in the respective seasons. In the third part, she now has to finally choose between the two brothers - and this ends this story. But don't worry: there are plans for a spin-off.
Ice -cold angel (canceled)
Bad news: The Prime series “Cruel Inentions” (in German: “Ice Cold Angel”) was discontinued after only one season. The series probably had bad spectators: interior numbers, and also with critics: the serial adaptation of the cult film was not well received inside. Unfortunately, the end of the first season has changed compared to that of the film so that you have a good cliffhanger for the next season. It will no longer exist. All fans should look at the original again!
