In a noble, shiny black suit, combined with a white shirt and a stylish bow tie, presenter Kai Pflaume warmly welcomed the 550 guests from show, business, sport and politics.

Pure gratitude: Tim Mälzer honors Mitra Kassai and her mission
“The world belongs to all of us, the young and the old.” That is the message of Mitra Kassai (51). It brings seniors out of loneliness. The Hamburg native launched the non-profit initiative “Oll Inclusive” and gives people aged 60 and over joy in life, encourages them and offers them special experiences.

Pure goosebumps: Tim Bendzko touches people with his song at the GOLDEN BILD at the FRAU gala
To dry the first tears of joy of the evening, Tim Bendzko warmed up the crowd with his song “Hoch”. The hit was tailor-made for the GOLDEN BILD at the FRAU Gala and is a reminder that real success is often associated with dedication and overcoming limitations. This year's award winners can also sing a song about that.
Olympic gold meets mother's heart
Elena Lierck (43) can hold two golds in her hands this evening: the GOLDEN PICTURE of the WOMAN and the Olympic medal from triathlete Laura Lindemann (28), who won gold as the final runner of the triathlon mixed relay in Paris and made sports history has.
Elena Lierck fights for children with Long Covid and ME/CFS. Her daughter Kalea (14) was in need of care after two corona infections. There is virtually no help for them and 140,000 other children. Elena Lierck wants to change that with her Dresden association “nichtGenesenKids eV”. She was also rewarded with a standing ovation from the guests of honor.

Dagmar Schwan (44) from Saarbrücken, founder of the “Helden für Herzen eV” association, also experienced an unforgettable surprise: in the “Wonder Woman” costume, she thought she was surprising a sick child at a children's birthday party - but instead she found herself in one Spotlight.
With superhero visits, your club brings hope, courage and joy to seriously ill and socially disadvantaged children, like Vin (8) from Soltau, who has already been visited twice by the club. He and his twin brother Dean were at the GOLDEN BILD der FRAU gala to thank Dagmar Schwan.
The highlight of the evening: Dagmar was honored with a special prize and 10,000 euros in funding from the German Postcode Lottery.
Rapper Eko Fresh and cabaret artist Florian Schroeder celebrate this woman
Hilly Škorić is active in Bavaria as an anti-violence coach for “Hilf-Reich” and gives hope and perspective to teenagers from difficult backgrounds. At the age of 15 she got on a bad path, became a criminal and ended up in prison. There she had a son and fought her way back to life. Today she uses her own experiences to give young people a second chance.
There were plenty of words of appreciation from cabaret artist Florian Schroeder, whose father was himself in prison. Her project sponsor, rapper Eko Fresh, went one step further and gave her and her children tickets to his next concert.
Peter Maffay campaigns against cyberbullying
Anna-Lena von Hodenberg (42) from Berlin, founder of HateAid gGmbH, has made it her mission to make the Internet a better and safer place. With her organization, she supports people who are treated with hostility or threats online and actively fights against hate online.
At her side on stage: music legend Peter Maffay. He himself has already been a victim of hostility online and is therefore using his voice to advocate for respectful coexistence in the digital world.
GOLDEN IMAGE of the FRAU Gala: The Audience Award goes to…
With her tireless efforts, Heike Rath from Münster gives hope and a future - for tens of thousands of children and women in East Africa. Your organization “Light Ray Uganda” is more than just help, it is a symbol of humanity and solidarity. Together with local people, the organization has already built a clinic, schools and a children's home.
Social worker Mike holds the fort in Uganda and is an important pillar of local help. In a moving video call, he and several beaming children thanked Heike Rath for her immense commitment. His words got under her skin: he called her a mother with a heart of gold.
Now Heike Rath not only has this affectionate title, but also has the GOLDEN Image of Woman in her hands - an award that recognizes everything she does for so many people.
In addition, Heike Rath was also awarded the audience award. Associated with the prize: 30,000 euros, which will further advance her life-changing work. “I am overwhelmed to receive this award,” said the winner with tears in her eyes. “We can use the prize money to set up a care station for malnourished children.”
