Kids and adults are equally enthusiastic about this pastry: Here, heavenly airy biscuit dough meets the slightly sweet and acid note of the apples and a hint of cinnamon. A combination for falling in love - and even at the first bite, we indulge in nostalgic memory of the coffee wreaths at the loved one.

You need these ingredients for a box shape (25 cm length):

  • 2 apples
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • ½ TL cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 eggs, size M
  • Salt
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Fat & breadcrumbs for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for the decoration

And so the preparation succeeds:

3. Mix the flour and baking powder together, add a sieve to the egg mass and fold in.
