Sometimes a snack can also be handy - for example on a buffet or on the go with a picnic. But actually it doesn't matter which occasion you can get them, because: Our Hawaii snails just always go and taste adults like kids alike.
Why do we love this recipe? Because we only need four ingredients and only invest 15 minutes of preparation. The little hearty treats in the oven are already disappearing. That's how it has to be!
Hawaii puff pastry snails: enjoyment for young and old
The combination of ham, cheese and pineapple has always been very popular. No wonder! Sweet and salty, simply harmonize excellently and are ideally rounded off by the creaminess of the cheese.
Probably also the reason why Toast Hawaii and Co. are so happy to eat. Our puff pastry snails are still super handy and are therefore suitable for various occasions - warm and also cold.
You need these ingredients:
- 1 roll puff pastry, from the cooling shelf
- 100 g of cooked ham
- 4 slices of pineapple, out of the can
- 100 g grated cheese
And so the preparation succeeds:
1. In the first step thePreheat the oven to 200 ° C. Roll out a sheet of baking paper.
2. Take the puff pastry out of the packaging and roll out. Cook hams into strips and cut the pineapple into small pieces. Press the topping a little.
3. Spread the ham strips, pineapple and cheese evenly on the dough. Roll up the puff pastry and put it in the freezer for about ten minutes. Cut slices with a thickness of about 1 cm out of the roll.
4. Line Hawaii puff pastry snails on the sheet, pushing on a medium shelf in the oven andBake for 15 minutes. As soon as the cheese is nice and crispy, the snails are ready! Now the finger food on a plate(here at Amazon*)serve and serve.
