Recipe for Mađarica: layer by layer to enjoy!
Even if Mađarica does some work: the cake is actually very easy to prepare. The trickiest is actually to bake the individual layers of dough. And even that is rather time -consuming than difficult. So don't worry if you are not a professional baker: You can do it!
You need these ingredients:
For the cake layers
- 600 g Mehl
- 2 protein
- 220 ml Sahne
- 150 g of sugar
- 180 g Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 liter milk
- 140 g Butter
- 200 g of sugar
- 200 g dark or tender bitter chocolate
- 5 tablespoons of flour
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 180 g dark or tender bitter chocolate
- 50 g Butter
- 3 tablespoons of oil
So you prepare the layers
For the cake layers
1. heat the oven to 180 ° C. Mixed butter, proteins and cream. Add flour, salt and baking powder and knead everything into a dough.
2. Divices the dough into five even parts. If each dough piece rolls out individually, about the same size rectangles, for example in the size of your baking sheet. Bake the layers individually for 8-9 minutes. Keep in the eye, you shouldn't get too dark!
3. Then let the layers cool on a flat surface.
For the chocolate layers
1. Boil milk and sugar in a saucepan. Then draw about 250 ml of milk and gradually mix them with the flour. Pour the flour mixture back into the rest of the milk and boil everything up again. Stir well!
2. reduces the temperature of your stove and melt the chocolate in the milk mixture. As soon as the filling becomes a little thicker, you can take it from the stove.
3. Stir the butter and let everything cool completely before you continue to use it.
For the glaze
1. Fill chocolate, oil and butter into a bowl and melt everything over a water bath.
So you put the cake together
1. Places a layer baked cake on a baking sheet or another flat surface. Spread approx. 1/4 of the chocolate layer mass on it. Repeat the steps and end with a layer of baked cake.
2. Tips the glaze over the cake, distribute it a little and put the finished pastries in the fridge overnight.
3. Cut the Mađarica into small square and served the next day. Bon appetit!
