This filler can be prepared in no time and is just right for cold, wet winter days. Here you can find the recipe for sausage goulash.
When you're hungry for something hearty but time is short, this sausage goulash is just what you need. In contrast to the classic goulash, which has to braise for hours, this quick version is on the table in just 30 minutes.

Perfect for an evening when you don't feel like standing in the kitchen for long, but still want to enjoy something hearty. With the creamy pepper and cream cheese sauce and a touch of beer, the sausage goulash becomes an uncomplicated feel-good dish - simple, tasty and really filling!
Recipe for creamy sausage goulash with cream cheese
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 2 coarse bratwursts
- 2 spring onions
- 1 small red pepper
- 1 small yellow pepper
- 300 ml vegetable broth
- 150 ml mild beer (e.g. pale or pilsner)
- 2 stalks of parsley
- 175 g pepper cream cheese
- 1 EL Kill
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp flour
- Salt
- Paprika powder (sweet)
- Zucker
Preparation:
Fry the sausages in the oil for about 3 minutes per side. Meanwhile, wash the spring onions and cut them into rings. Wash and dice the peppers.
2. Remove sausages from pan. Fry the whites of the spring onions and peppers in the frying fat. Add tomato paste and sweat. Dust the flour over it and also sweat it briefly.
3. Deglaze with broth and beer. Season with salt, paprika and sugar and simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile wash and chop the parsley. Cut the bratwurst into slices, add it to the goulash with the paprika cream cheese and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Season the goulash to taste, sprinkle with parsley and spring onion greens and serve.
