The Panorama Mascara from L'Oréal Paris is intended not only to lengthen and thicken the eyelashes, but also to make the eyes appear larger. We tested them.
I never actually leave the house without mascara. How come? Because I just feel kind of “naked” without mascara. My eyelashes are naturally lighter, thin and not that long. True to the motto “you can’t have everything”, inking the little hairs is part of my daily beauty routine.
Which personally doesn't bother me at all. I like it when mascara makes my eyelashes visibly black and look voluminous, longer and more curved. But I also think it's completely okay if someone celebrates the "no mascara look". Ultimately, the most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable - with or without make-up.
As a beauty editor, I love testing new products. Of course, this also includes mascaras, which really come in a wide variety of designs. For example, there is currently a new product from L'Oréal Paris. Anyone who regularly scans the cosmetics counters at Rossmann, dm or Müller for new products willVolume Million Lashes „Panorama“ Mascara* may have already spotted it. But the mascara has also been on the shelf in perfumeries like Douglas for a long time.
Plus point:You can get the mascara for just 11 to 15 euros.
These properties make L'Oréal mascara so special
The packaging of the “Panorama” mascara from L'Oréal Paris is actually totally puristic, but it stands out from the other products thanks to its gold-colored, shiny casing. The design is not only noticeable in the cosmetics counter, the mascara is also a highlight in the bathroom at home and looks elegant and luxurious.
But enough about the packaging. What is much more important is what is hidden in the gold-colored cylinder and what the mascara can do.
According to the manufacturer, the mascara is intended to give the eyelashes a “360° panoramic volume” and ensure defined and voluminous eyelashes that make the eyes look 1.4 times larger.
How does that work? TheMascara* is equipped with an “innovative” silicone brush. It has short and long bristles, so that even short and fine eyelashes should be coated with the texture when ink. While the short bristles have the task of thickening the eyelashes, the long bristles are intended to fan out and lengthen each individual eyelash.
The texture is also special. Thanks to a “5% Stretchflex Complex”, the formula of this mascara is super flexible. Pulling each lash up and out allows the mascara to stretch.
There are lots of mascaras to discover at Douglas:
I tested the mascara:
The first thing I notice is that the mascara brush sits really well in the hand and is really easy to “work” with. Compared to the mascara I currently use, the brush is a little smaller and a little heavier. This explains the good grip of the panoramic mascara.
Then I start applying the mascara to my eyelashes - just like I do with any other product. That works great. Thanks to the slightly tapered shape of the brush head, I can actually reach even the finest hairs in the inner lash line almost effortlessly.
After inking a few times I see the result. And I'm really very happy with that. The eyelashes are separated quite neatly, are definitely nice and long and look thicker at the same time. Nothing clumped together either - not even when I applied another layer of mascara after a short drying time. I would actually buy the mascara again.
Tip from L'Oréal on how to apply mascara correctly:Place the brush on the lash line and slowly distribute it to the tips. The texture is distributed even better with light zigzag movements.
The Panorama Mascara from L'Oreal Paris is available in drugstores such asRossman*, dm or Müller. You can also get the mascara in perfumeries likeDouglas* order bottles.
Something important at the end:Of course, there is no one best mascara that impresses everyone and produces the same effect on all of us. We give you tips, introduce products and report on our personal experiences. The only way you can find out whether the mascara ultimately suits your individual needs and whether you achieve what you want with the product is by testing it yourself.
