A stainless steel washbasin is usually used in industry or catering. But it can also cut a good figure in the bathroom. The Italian bathroom furniture manufacturer Componendo, for example, has developed a new concept for a modern stainless steel vanity console. This ancient knowledge of working with steel is now one of the most important traditions of their city. Each Componendo product is unique, carefully handcrafted by skilled craftsmen or customized to the designer's specific requirements. Following the motto “Quality is the only thing we produce in series” they use the high-quality, stainless steel type AISI 304.
The steel surfaces are protected against fingerprints and water residue by a special anti-touch treatment, so they are always clean and shiny. Cleaning is also particularly quick and easy. Steel is the main component of the Componendo product lines. Steel can be perfectly combined with other noble materials such as wood, marble, glass and mineral casting.
Washbasin console made of stainless steel “Diciotto”
Componendo introduced “Diciotto” in 2018 – aSeries of wash basins, which are made of high-quality steel grades AISI 304 or AISI 430 painted. The name of this collection doesn't just sound nice. It is derived from Italian and refers to the 18 degree angle that this console forms. The curved shapes make the steel appear gentle and give it a feeling of femininity.
This console is available in different versions - made of pure steel or painted. The steel finish can be either shiny or matt.
Vanity console “Venti”
In German, “Venti” means “twenty”. As its name suggests, the bathroom console bends at a 20-degree angle. The special anti-touch process permanently protects the steel from hand and drop marks, so that the surface remains bright and clean. The vanity top is available in steel, glass, mineral cast in black and white, Rosso Levanto or Cappuccino marble.
SEVENTY-TWO and SEVENTY-FIVE
Like other bathroom consoles, this collection also gets its name from the angle amplitude. Here “Settantadue” stands for 72° and “Settantacinque” or 75°. The combination of stainless steel and mineral casting is particularly fascinating.
Componendo collections made of mineral casting
Componendo is always looking for materials that bring together the concepts of functionality, aesthetics and design. A good example is mineral casting. KRION® is a new generation of solid surface materials developed by SYSTEMPOOL, a company of the Porcelanosa group. This material feels similar to natural stone and is characterized by many positive properties: non-porous, antibacterial properties, hardness, resistance, durability and ease of care. This innovative material inspired Componendo to create two new vanity consoles: Sedici and Settanta.
“Sixteen” (Sechzehn)
“Settanta” (Seventy)
