Necessary materials:

  • Craft paper (red and green)
  • Green felt paper
  • Glue stick

This is how it's done:

  • Cut the red construction paper into long strips.
  • Place one strip on the work surface and cross it with the next, securing them in the middle with glue. Add the other strips until a circle forms, making sure they are all connected in the middle.
  • Once you have the desired number of strips, fold them in half one at a time, secure the ends together with glue and let them dry briefly.
  • Meanwhile, cut out a rectangle from the green felt paper and wrap it to make a stem. Attach it to the top part of the apple.
  • Cut out a few leaves from the green construction paper and add them to the stem.
