Painting with soap bubbles
Soap bubbles are fascinating. It's always great fun when the bubbles float through the air and finally burst. You can also paint with soap bubbles and create the most amazing works of art! When painting with soap bubbles, children also learn what they can achieve by using their breathing power in different ways. Blowing carefully will produce a different result.
You will need: Bubble mix (made from dish soap, water, sugar and glycerin), food coloring or watercolors, a baking sheet, a glass, a straw and white paper.
*If you are worried about small children coming into contact with dishwashing liquid, you can use milk as an alternative. The milk bubbles are heavier than soap bubbles, but are just as suitable for abstract motifs.
Mix the bubble mixture with a few drops of food coloring in a glass. Place the glass in the middle of the baking tray. Gently blow into it with the straw. Lots of soap bubbles climb out of the glass and spread across the tray. Then set the glass aside. Take a sheet of white paper and carefully place it on the bubbles. Then just let the artwork dry.
