When the young designer Chen Bikovski, practicing in Tel Aviv, was still a child, she was fascinated by pop-up children's books. The immersive experience of turning the pages of pop-up books from her childhood inspired her to turn the idea into a designer project. She has therefore designed a collection of elegant aluminum wall lamps that impress with their minimalist design and special lighting effects. Popup lighting are fancy lamps that turn into magical animals when you turn on the light.
The designer's idea behind the unusual wall lamps was to have onedurable luminous bodyto design that can create a magical ambience in any room. At first glance, the wall lamps look like minimalist origami aluminum sculptures that decorate the wall. However, when the lights are turned on, the lamps appear as magical deer or peacocks. Rays of light behind each lamp create a beautiful lighting effect that, depending on the design chosen, depicts the antlers of the deer or the feathers of the peacock.
Bikovski has produced two designs so far, but is now working on her next project. In addition to the deer and peacock wall lamp, the designer has created a great table lamp that depicts houseplants and especially cacti. The already manufactured wall lamps are available in an elegant color palette and are perfect for hallways, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms. In addition, the unusual lamps fit perfectly in a children's room because they stimulate the imagination and create magical lighting effects that would certainly delight the children.
