For Morticia, choose a bodycon dress with a high neckline to recreate the heroine's feminine gothic aesthetic. Gomez's costume is also nice for adding an accent, like these stripes. You can pair it with a tie of your choice, but it would be great if it was the same color as Morticia's lipstick. If you don't have one, you can put a dark red handkerchief in the pocket of your jacket. Most important, however, are Gomez's mustache and hairstyle. If you find it difficult to recreate the waves, part your hair in the middle and style it with lots of gel on both sides to give it shine. But before that, you should watch the Netflix series “Wednesday” to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the characters.

Freddie Mercury and David Bowie carnival couple costumes
Are you feeling “under pressure” when searching for the perfect carnival costume? Try to recreate two of the most iconic singers in music history with a Ziggy Stardust costume and Freddie's famous yellow jacket.
For Freddie's costume, all you need is a yellow leather jacket and a mustache. Wear with a white t-shirt or tank top, white jeans, a white belt (or whatever you have), and white sneakers. The belt is an important element of the overall look because it gives the jacket an additional rock'n'roll touch. The rest of the outfit is actually quite casual.
For the Ziggy Stardust costume, you can rely on your wardrobe. Take a fitted jacket from there and combine it with a tie in an atypical pattern and a shirt. Complement them with jeans and sneakers for a modern touch.

Recreate Chucky and his bride at Carnival 2023
These Mardi Gras couples costumes are the perfect throwback to the past. To dress up as Chucky, you'll need a denim suit, a colorful striped blouse and red sneakers (or whatever you have), as well as the signature butcher knife (buy a plastic one, of course). Put blood marks on it and on your face - with paint on the knife and lipstick on your face. Then draw the stitches of the scars with a black eye pencil. And don’t forget to occasionally say “Hello, I’m Chucky! Do you want to play?”
For the bride's outfit, put on the white dress, leather jacket and platform shoes you have. If you are blonde, half the work is already done, if not, you need a blonde wig. Apply black eyeshadow and mascara to your eyes, highlight your brows with a dark pencil, and use dark purple or dark red lipstick on your lips. Voila! You are ready for carnival!
