November is over and Advent is just around the corner. That means it's time for Christmas shopping! If you want to buy and give gifts on time this year, our Christmas gift planner will help!
For many, Christmas shopping is a tiresome and even stressful task. Whether in the city or online, the huge selection and the long list of recipients can quickly overwhelm you. But that doesn't apply to me! For years I have been making lists of all the gifts I want to give and this has made holiday shopping one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season. All you need are some good ideas and a gift planner.
Plan Christmas presents and keep track of them
I love choosing gifts for the people in my life. I've been thinking for months about what a particular person likes, what their interests and passions are, or what they might need or want. Then thisFind the perfect gift, which he or she can unwrap at Christmas - that's a really great joy.
However, if you want to give gifts to a lot of people, the whole thing becomes a bit overwhelming. Without planning, you often lose track of what you have already gotten for some people. Also, you can't always remember what you gave away year after year, and none of us want to make the faux pas of giving the same gift as last year, right? All of this leads to real chaos, which no one wants in the run-up to Christmas.
For many reasons I mentioned above, I find using a gift planner very useful.
What does the gift planner for Christmas look like?
The gift planner is a template that youdownload here for freeand can print out. On it, you can list the people you want to give gifts to this year, along with the right gift idea for each. Then there is a column with the planned budget so that you can get an overview of your expenses at the end.
The planner also includes a checklist on which you can mark whether you bought the gift or whether you made it yourself, wrapped it and already given it away. I find this very useful if, like me, you buy gifts spontaneously. If you have already done some of your Christmas shopping, for example during Black Friday, you can fill the first lines of the list straight away.
Give something to whom? Useful gift ideas for everyone
The gift planner is a super useful thing if you already have gift ideas. But the longer the list, the more difficult it is to come up with original ideas that don't cost a fortune. That's why I created the following lists to help you search.
