Lace exudes an incomparable charm and can add a touch of elegance to autumn decorations. Gather silver lace doilies, a craft knife, a pencil, and a cutting mat. Fold the round lace doily in half, then fold the resulting semicircle in half again, and finally fold it in half again. You should end up with a triangle. Use a pen to draw a spider web pattern on the paper. Cut out the inside of the pattern. Now carefully unfold the paper and you can admire your work of art. In order to delay the formation of mold and to enjoy the carved and hollowed pumpkin creations for as long as possible, we recommend using some products that kill bacteria and preserve the fruit.

  • Hairspray– This allows the moisture to be trapped in the pumpkin. However, this method is only suitable for short preservation.
  • Clear varnish or acrylic spray– In terms of durability, they have the same properties as hairspray.
  • Bleach– Dilute 15 ml of bleach with 1 liter of cold water in a bucket or larger container. Then place the hollowed out pumpkin in the lye with the opening facing down. Let stand for at least an hour or overnight. After removing the pumpkin, it must be dried well.
  • Acid such as vinegar or lemon juice– Mix one part acid with one part water

One of the most popular craft techniques recently is the napkin technique. Paper napkins are usually stuck to all sorts of objects. But you can also use tissue paper. Cut out different leaf shapes, cover a white pumpkin with decoupage glue and place the designs on top. Coat the whole thing again with glue. Start from the inside and spread the glue outwards.
