It also cuts a fine figure as a table decoration. Today we'll show you some ideas that don't require too much effort, but the result is beautiful. We celebrate the end of winter and welcome spring!

Make your own Easter wreath as a table decoration

To make an Easter wreath yourself, you need a base, which will be the basis of the composition. For example, you can tie willow branches into a wreath or use a purchased blank made of straw, wood or Styrofoam. Wire, sponge and moss are also often used. Most of them can be purchased at a florist or garden store. This base is then decorated with spring flowers, Easter eggs, feathers and ribbons.

Make your own table wreath from fresh twigs

For the wreath you need flexible, young branches - preferably birch or willow. Note that the wreath will be approximately as tall as the longest branch. First gather the branches into a ring. While holding the ends firmly with your left hand, take the next branches and wrap them around the first ring. This continues branch by branch.

After the second or third ring, you can distribute the other branches evenly around the wreath. If the wreath already has a round shape, tie the branches with thread in several places.

Tipp:Soak the birch or willow branches in water the day before. This makes them flexible enough for changing.

Decorated with eggshells

Natural decorations such as moss, fresh greenery and more go well with a wreath made of fresh birch branchesreal eggshells. It's best to start collecting empty egg shells early so that you have enough for crafting later. The eggshells can then easily be attached to the wreath with hot glue.

With onion plants in the middle

If the Easter wreath serves as a table decoration, fresh onion flowers can also be used. These are arranged in the middle of the wreath. Just be careful not to let the wreath come into contact with the water.

Choose a shallow bowl, round tray, or other base for the table wreath. Your blank shouldn't be much larger than the bowl. Line the inside with cling film and spread some pebbles on top. The drainage layer is then filled with potting soil.

Remove the flowers from the pot and press them into the ground. Fill with some soil and cover with a thin layer of moss. Easter eggs, chicks or Easter bunnies complete the overall picture. Water sparingly so that the flowers do not shoot up and wither too quickly.

Warm copper look

Alternatively, you can place the flowers and pot in the middle of the wreath. This wreath, for example, is made from natural willow vines and decorated with copper wire, quail feathers and a small bird figurine. A clay pot with snowdrops is placed in the middle of the wreath. The gaps are then filled with eggs.

With their beautiful copper look, the eggs are a real highlight. You can use blown or plastic eggs for this. To jazz up the willow wreath, wrap copper wire and glue quail feathers to the vines. Decorate with two cute decorative birds.

Scandinavian in black and white

Whitewashed wooden wreaths are perfect for Easter decorations in a Scandinavian, country house or shabby chic style. This Easter wreath as a table decoration, for example, is combined with eggs in black and white. Ivy branches and onion flowers give the whole thing a fresh touch.

Since the goose eggs are painted with blackboard paint, you can write on them with chalk pens. This is also a great idea if you are looking for a combination of party favor and place card.

Straw wreaths exude a beautiful country house flair

A straw wreath can also be designed as desired depending on the season. To do this, you can either wrap a Styrofoam blank with hay or get a ready-made straw wreath blank.
