For this reason we would like to offer you the two variants for oneWooden flooringimagine, namely these areparquetand the laminate meant.
Wooden flooring – Is parquet or laminate flooring better, more beautiful and more practical?
Both versions are great! In one case we have the irreplaceable charm of natural wood and in the second a relatively inexpensive alternative to wooden flooring in the form ofLaminate, which offers us a durable and practical floor covering.
Wooden flooring – the parquet floor
The parquet floor asflooringmade of wood is to be admired not only for the beauty of natural wood, but also for its properties such as hardness, weather resistance, heat insulation and easy maintenance. Solid wood floorboards can also be divided into two types: solid wood with a standard board thickness of 15 mm or more and multi-layer parquet (double-layer or three-layer parquet) bonded to the base. The top layer of this wood flooring is polished and ready to install, eliminating the need for sanding and polishing in the room. Today you can also buy solid wood parquet polished. Wood is a living material and has its own characteristics. Itchangedchanges over time and even becomes more beautiful.
White wood parquet
Humidity and room temperature have a major influence on parquet floors. When the humidity is higher in summer, it swellsparquetand absorbs moisture; the opposite happens when the humidity is lower. After a certain time, the wooden floor covering loses its elasticity. That's why at the end of the twentieth century a new type of parquet was created - the two-layer parquet. It offers flexibility on the top layer. The transverse arrangement of the bottom layer mimics the natural movement of the wood at the top and prevents the boards from deforming. The top layer is usually made of precious wood and has a thickness of between 2.5 and 6 mm, which is absolutely sufficient. This means you get a good and sustainable product in the form of a wooden floor covering for a very long period of time.
Arrange wooden floor coverings in an original way
Natural wood floors can be divided depending on the size of the parquet boards. They are traditionally small (for example 40 x 200 mm), but now long boards for wooden flooring are also available. The layered parquet can also be manufactured according to specific dimensions. However, you must be careful with every installation, deformations are possible.
Wood Flooring – The wood material
The parquet is made from natural wood and exotic types of wood. Parquet floors made of oak, beech, ash, walnut, maple or cherry are very popular. Exotic parquet floors come from South America, Africa and Asia. They are valued for their beautiful, diverse and rare colors and textures and are characterized by a high degree of hardness, strength and weather resistance, making them suitable for outdoor wooden flooring. The types of wood are very different - ipe, iroko, bamboo, teak, merbau, mahogany, pilang, rosewood and others.
Parquet selection based on the hardness of the wood material
Your choice of parquet based on the hardness of the wood material must depend primarily on the room and its application. Larch, cherry and European maple are moderately strong, followed by American cherry, American walnut, teak, ash, beech, oak and smoky oak. Solid materials also include Canadian maple, merbau and acacia. The parquet for wooden flooring made from these species is particularly strong, three times stronger than normal, because the wood is treated under very high pressure, which has changed its structure. This floor covering is suitable for areas with very high traffic.

Wooden flooring - laminate
Laminate flooring is a multi-layered wood product. Laminate decorative paper and Overlay melamine resin is the actual running layer. Melamine resin is a resistant material and is extremely durable. The laminate carrier board made of HDF forms the basis of the laminate floor. It is made of HDF (High Density Fibreboard). Laminate countertop made of special paper is the bottom layer and gives this wooden floor covering its final stability. During the production process, the individual laminate layers are processed together under high pressure and at high temperatures to form the laminate floor.
