Fight curl disease with home remedies: This is how you can cure the fruit trees

Baking soda for frizz

Baking soda is the perfect home remedy if you are looking for an instant solution to frizziness due to its alkaline properties. You can help your plant recover with this simple and inexpensive method.

Dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda in 4 liters of water and add 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap. The baking soda alone works well, but adding dish soap improves the effectiveness of the solution. Pour the solution into a large spray bottle and spray generously on both sides of affected leaves, branches and stems three times weekly until the tree appears healthy again.

Avoid treating trees on sunny days to prevent leaf burns and only use during the vegetative and pre-blooming stages.

Spray the fruit trees with neem oil

Not only is neem oil an excellent pest control agent, but it also has antibacterial properties that can prevent further infection. This natural remedy should be applied as soon as you notice curl disease on your trees and continued as needed to keep the disease under control.

Mix a tablespoon of neem oil and a teaspoon of dish soap with 3 liters of water and spray the affected plants with the solution early in the morning or evening. It is best to do this when the buds have not yet swollen. In fall and winter, you can apply it to the ground around the tree or on the branches to prevent curl disease.
