New garden furniture series 2019 from Fermob: Laser cutting provides a touch of lightness

Fermob, the French manufacturer of outdoor furniture, presented its latest collections at the ICFF international furniture fair in New York. The new garden furniture series 2019 is called Lorette and is designed by designer Frédéric Sofia. The highlight in the design is an unusual, subtle motif of a flower with four petals as a symbol of cosmopolitanism. It is reminiscent of oriental countries and Mashrabiyyas. Mashrabiyya is the name given to the decorative wooden grilles that are typical of Islamic architecture.

The Lorette garden furniture series embodies the Fermob spirit, revealed through graphic effects and an obvious mastery of metal processing. The range includes a complete garden furniture set made of metal and decorative accessories made of textile.

The garden chairs are characterized by a chic, contemporary look. Thanks to the four slim, straight legs, the chair stands stable on the lawn, while the oval backrest ensures excellent seating comfort. The rounded angles between the base and seat are reminiscent of the Arne Jacobsen Ant Chair by Fritz Hansen andthe furniture style of the 1950s. The repeating floral and diamond pattern gives the outdoor furniture a touch of modernity and femininity. In this complex work, Fermob shows how well he handles laser cutting. A version with a seat pad made of Skai® imitation leather is also available and can be used outdoors.

The generous shape of the oval Lorette table is ideal when space is limited: up to six people can sit at the table. The oval Lorette table is also characterized by its perforated top and underlines the chic look of the garden furniture series.

Classic, geometric or just atypical, the Lorette table is also available in a round version with a diameter of 110 cm. An elegant table runner is also available for meals in the garden.

The Lorette collection is completed by decorative cushions in two sizes, also available in two colors: Liquorice and Carrot. These cushions are made from a French-made jacquard fabric that is resistant to stains and moisture.
