Lower cholesterol – Apples are effective against high cholesterol levels

Scientists have discovered a new remedy that can lower cholesterol - apples. This fruit has a positive effect on the circulatory system and other internal organs.

The apples have so many benefits and are so effective for our body that scientists can recommend them as medicine. They can also lower cholesterol. Studies show that if you regularly consume apples, you have up to 23% less LDL in your blood.

Doctors say that LDL (the “bad” cholesterol) has a very negative effect on us humans and is one of the most dangerous risk factors today. Lowering cholesterol is very important for a long, healthy life. The problem comes from excessive consumption of carbohydrates and fats. But you could do that with apples.

60 women between 45 and 65 years old take part in the study. Over the course of 1.5 years, half of them produced 75 dried apples, the other half – plums. Half who ate apples showed better cholesterol levels and lost weight.
