Avoid coffee and tea edges
A strong attack is the best defense.
Rinse quickly
If you want to keep your cups free from discoloration from tea bags or coffee grounds, don't leave them in for too long. You can prevent tea and coffee deposits from settling in cups by rinsing them quickly after each use. After this residue is removed, you no longer need to worry about stains.
Clean tea cups and coffee cups in the dishwasher
It's best to choose tea cups and coffee cups that can be put in the dishwasher. Dishwashers are a useful tool for preventing stains due to the high temperatures and powerful detergents they use.
Remove limescale regularly
Limescale can build up on cups and tea glasses, which provides more surface area for tannins to attack, which is why they need to be descaled regularly. This is especially true if you live in an area with hard water. Regularly use a descaling solution or a vinegar and water mixture to keep limescale deposits at bay.
Allow to dry completely after rinsing
Make sure the cups are completely dry after rinsing. When wet, tannins and stains can develop more easily. Make sure the cups are completely dry before storing them.

These home remedies work wonders!
Use baking powder
Baking soda is an excellent cleaning agent. Because of its granular nature, baking soda creates a paste that is both abrasive and odorless. Not to mention it's so cheap and you probably already have a pack on hand.
To make a thick paste, mix baking soda with a little tap water. Apply some paste to a scouring pad and wipe the cup clean (if you don't want to use another bowl, you can just make the paste in the cup). Then rinse them out.
Remove tea and coffee residue with toothpaste
All you need is a significantly discolored, stained coffee cup or tea cup, some toothpaste, and a toothbrush or sponge. The first step to removing tea and coffee stains from a cup is toto apply some toothpaste. Scrub the stained areas with a damp toothbrush or sponge: rub in a circular motion to ensure all stains are captured. When you're done scrubbing the stains, wash the cup with a mixture of warm water and dish soap.
Get rid of discoloration with denture cleaning tablets
The effervescent action of the tablets can also clean your cups. To completely remove coffee or tea stains, follow the instructions on the package and add water. Once the tablet has taken effect, wash the cup thoroughly with detergent and rinse.
Lemon against stubborn deposits
Halve a lemon. After cutting the lemon in half, smear its juice all over the inside of the stained cup. Then continue with the normal washing process.
Vinegar method for removing stains
You can also clean your cup with vinegar if you find that baking soda is not effective. Fill the cup halfway with white vinegar. Use very hot water to fill the cup to the top. To get the most out of the vinegar solution, let it sit for a good 10 minutes. Then pour out the contents of the cup. Use the rough side of a sponge to scrub the cup and stains with dish soap. Be careful to protect the surface of the cup, so don't scrub too hard. Wash the cup in warm water and pat dry with a soft towel.
Don't forget:Make sure a tea or coffee cup is completely air dried before use.
