Window fronts and metal stairs – minimalist house design

Today we are introducing you to a house with attractive window fronts and metal stairs, which is a great example of how wonderfully small living space can be used. The external facades form an area of only 8×20 meters. For this reason, the space upstairs was used and a house was designed with three floors. The design for this comes from Budi Pradono Architects and is impressive in many ways. The house is supported by sturdy steel beams that underline the modern look of the house and give it a sloped appearance.

What is striking, among other things, is the abstract and quite irregular architecture of the house, which is already noticeable outside. In addition, there are the already mentioned large window fronts and metal stairs, which occupy the east, south and north sides of the house and, in addition to the bright design, ensure a friendly atmosphere inside. Plants also have the same effectGreen spaces, which are distributed throughout the interior. They also ensure naturalness in the otherwise sterile interior.

The three floors are divided into the public and private living areas. In the first there is a large pool, the pantry and a work area. An attractive staircase made of white painted metal leads to the next floor. The second houses the large bedroom with its own bathroom, which is 16 square meters in size and has a wardrobe. If you climb further up you reach a lounge area with a breathtaking view. There is also a guest room on the same floor of the house.

We have put together some photos of the minimalist house for you to get an insight into the interior. They can serve as wonderful inspiration when it comes to designing and furnishing your home. The modern house is located in Jakarta, Indonesia and more specifically in a trendy neighborhood called Pondok Indah, favored by many rich and celebrities.
