Glamorous copper accents when setting up an apartment in Kyiv

The architects from the Ukrainian architecture studio Yodezeen recently completed a project for renovation and new interior design of an apartment in Kiev, Ukraine. Originally, it was two smaller apartments on the same floor. The builders have decided to tear down the walls between the two apartments and to design a large, spacious apartment. During the interior design, the architects have put up copper accents that occur in every area of the apartment and give the rooms a glamorous touch. Let yourself be inspired by the impressive interior of this apartment!

After the walls were torn down between the two apartments, a new, much larger apartment was created that the architects turned into a fantastic home. The furnishing style is modern, with the dark tones dominate. A material that occurs in every room is the copper. In the newly created living area, where living, dining room and kitchen share a common room, appliesCopper as a real eye -catcher. In the living room you will find the noble material as an accent on the wall, as well as in the shape of a backlit wall shelf and a floor lamp.

On the common wall between the living and dining room there is a second, built-in copper wall shelf. Right next to it you can find a green wall with moss built in a wall niche. The niche is used to issue a sculpture that comes into its own in front of the green background. The spots on the ceiling can be easily aligned with the work of art and accentuate it even further.

The copper accents are also not missing in the dining area. Two sculpturesPendant lights made of copperhang directly above the stone dining table and are considered an anchor between the different areas in the open space. Small decorative elements and accessories such as a few shells and a serving tray made of the same material complete the glamorous design.

The kitchen is right next to the dining area. This creates a dramatic effect that is caused by the black closet fronts. The black color and the handless, smooth surface of the kitchen cabinets are broken through by various copper elements. The pendant lights above the kitchen island, the tap and some wall panels also stage copper as material here.

Copper accents also appear in the large bedroom, where they are used for an original wall design. Thin copper tube are installed from each other at an asymmetrical distance and create a very special optical effect. TheIndirect lightingOn the other hand, a dramatic, but relaxed atmosphere creates in the room.

The large bedroom has its own private bathroom, which is separated from the sleeping area with a partition as a room divider. Copper is used here at the ends of the room divider, as well as in the bathroom for the fittings and as an accents on the wall.

A second, smaller sheep room is equipped with a wall cladding made of dark wood. This accent wall looks really homely in the interior and creates a natural feeling. The copper accents in this room are much more modest than in the other areas of the apartment. A single copper pendant lamp hangs next to the bed and looks like a modern color accent in front of the dark brown wall.

The home office is set up with copper shelves that give the gray walls a metallic touch. The copper accents in this room are supplemented by a small table lamp.
