From Dubai to New York, the portfolio of the talented, young architects and designers from Musa Studio already includes more than 100 completed projects. They recently presented online one of their latest projects – the “Northern Dune” apartment in Chisinau, Moldova. The apartment is located in a new residential complex called “Perla Residence” in the heart of the capital of Moldova. The apartments in this residential complex are characterized by open floor plans that provide ample opportunity to adapt to the needs of each individual owner. The visualization of Musa Studio's interior is an excellent example of how you can combine neutral colors to create a harmonious monochrome look in your own home.
Neutral colors characterize the furnishings
At 80 square meters, this 2-room apartment is quite spacious. The apartment owner - a successful businessman - commissioned the designers to create a minimalist, yet inviting and cozy interior. The furnishings should focus on the essentials and be functional at the same time.
The original layout resulted in the apartment being logically divided into two zones. To the left of the entrance is the large living area, where guests are also received, and the private bedroom remains to the right. The entrance area is separated from the rest of the apartment by a sliding glass door. There is no hallway furniture or decorations here, except for a practical wall-mounted bench where you can easily put on your shoes.
When furnishing the living room, the designers relied on an open-space concept in order to meet the customer's requirements for a functional and sparingly decorated space. There are no useless elements, everything is reduced to the essentials. Neutral colors and unobtrusive patterns create a particularly calming and harmonious atmosphere.
The open living area consists of three zones - the living room with a TV area, the kitchen with a breakfast bar facing the TV and the dining area with a dining group for 6 people. The seating area includes a 3-seater sofa with an ottoman and a relaxing chair with a stool. So the businessman can put his feet up, press the remote control and relax after a hard day at work. Green houseplants add mood and some color to the neutral interior.
The kitchen impresses with its functional concept, modern appliances and a practical breakfast bar. There is enough counter space and storage solutions to accommodate everything. The white kitchen upper cabinets impress with their shiny lacquer lookreach up to the ceiling. The dining area is right next to the kitchen and has the same elegant and stylish design.
The furnishings of “Northern Dune” Apartment allow no compromises and rely on natural surfaces, high-quality materials, neutral colors and clear lines. An exclusive combination for a successful businessman who knows the value of simplicity and order.
Neutral colors have a calming effect in the bedroom
The master bedroom offers enough space for a large double bed, two bedside tables, a spacious wardrobe and a cozy seating area with a comfortable recliner. Although the bedroom is spacious, we see a floor-to-ceiling mirrored wall behind the bed, which further expands the space. Here we like the idea of placing two rugs on top of each other.
The bedroom is connected to the bathroom, which is equipped with a large walk-in shower. Practical sliding glass doors allow the shower door to be opened and closed easily. Accordingly, all elements are arranged in such a way that all processes that take place in the bathroom are facilitated. The interplay of natural wood look and white marble looks particularly sophisticated and modern in the bathroom.
