Pastel colors have been an absolute trend in recent years in all possible areas of application. The delicate and light tones have not only conquered the world of fashion and interior design. You can often see pastel hair and nails. And it's no wonder that these unicorn colors are so popular, because they appear particularly gentle and friendly. Pastel green, for example, gives the impression of airy freshness and also sounds like spring. Combined with warm beige and gray tones, the overall picture is harmonious. The interior design in this 3-room apartment is a great example of how calming and fresh this color combination is at the same time.
Pastel green in combination with gray and cream tones
The interior of this 88 m² apartment is designed for a young family. It should not only be practical and functional, but also cozy and comfortable. A special highlight in the living room is the green painted wall with built-in shelves. The room door is in the same shade of green and blends in with the wall.
The light parquet in a straight pattern contrasts well with the curtains, the Sofaand carpet in dark gray tones. On the wall behind the TV, the stunning Ceramica Bardelli tiles feature a modern geometric pattern.
The design of the kitchen-living room is very minimalist and visually harmonizes with the seating area. The white upper cabinets without handles are almost invisible against the white wall, while the wooden fronts of the lower cabinets provide a warm touch.
The work area is combined with a dining table and a kitchen counter. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow daylight to flood into the room and the black elements appear softer. While having breakfast, residents can enjoy a beautiful view of the Dnieper. All other built-in devices are mounted in a free-standing unit. This makes the kitchen look neat and tidy.
In the bedroom, the combination of pastel green, cream and brown creates a particularly calming ambience. The pastel green wallpaper on the wall behind the bed impresses with an interesting 3D herringbone pattern. The design comes from ARTE's new Spectra series. Thanks to the integrated layer of foam rubber, the wall covering is also effective as sound insulation. In the small guest room, the same design adorns the walls, but in taupe.
In the bathroom, the black wall tiles repeat the parquet pattern. The dark wood vanity unit and bathtub surround contrast with the marble countertop and add warmth to the black and white interior.
