The designers from the Ukrainian architecture studio YoDezeen have designed a modern apartment with an open living concept in Kiev, Ukraine. The predominantly dark furnishings appear noble and stylish and create a dramatic effect in the interior. The highlight in the open space is a black stone wall in the bedroom, which harmonizes perfectly with the wall color and the interior design.

Although the apartment has a total living space of almost 90 square meters, the designers opted for an open concept when designing the room.The spacious apartmentThey designed it as a one-room apartment with a kitchen, living, dining and sleeping area without partitions. The only room divider in the interior is a modern steel bookcase between the living room and dining area. Dark tones predominate in the furnishings, with black playing the main role. Therefore, the elegant stone wall in the sleeping area fits perfectly into the interior.

The black walls and ceilings in combination with the dark furniture speak for an apartment that is specifically designed for a man, i.e. a bachelor apartment. Instead of contrasting with the rest of the interior, thedecorative wallin the bedroom designed in complete harmony with it. The solid stones have a special effect in the room that is reminiscent of male power.
