And you would definitely agree with us that homemade ice cream tastes much better than most varieties from the refrigerated section in the supermarket. But what if we can't decide between a chocolate bar and an ice cream? Then we will simply make delicious ice cream bars ourselves! Whether Snickers, Oreo, Bounty or a healthy protein ice cream bar – our recipes are the perfect refreshment for the summer!
Make delicious Bounty ice cream bars yourself
Everyone knows them and everyone loves them – the delicious Bounty bars from the supermarket. Coconut and chocolate are a match made in heaven and always provide a treat. If you're in the mood for a refreshing little something, then these coconut ice cream bars are just the thing for you! And the best part? Since the dessert is low carb, vegan and sugar-free, you can treat yourself to 2-3 pieces!
Ingredients for around 20 bars:
- 200 ml canned coconut milk, well cooled
- 300 grams of coconut flakes
- 50 grams coconut oil, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon each vanilla and coconut extract
- 1 tbsp birch sugar or erythritol
- 200 grams of dark chocolate with at least 80% cocoa
Make Bounty ice cream bars yourself:
- Put coconut flakes, coconut oil and birch sugar in a blender and mix until you get a smooth mixture.
- Place the mixture in a large bowl. Add coconut milk and vanilla and coconut extract and knead everything into a dough with your hands.
- Form 20 bars from the coconut mixture, spread them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and place them in the freezer for 2 hours.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a water bath and dip the ice cream bars into it one at a time.
- Sprinkle with extra coconut flakes and freeze for another 30 minutes. And your Bounty ice cream bars are ready!
- If you prefer it fruitier, you can add a few lightly crushed berries to the mixture.

The following recipe isn't super healthy, but it tastes really good! And it's so easy to make these delicious Snickers ice cream bars yourself:
Ingredients biscuit layer for around 18 bars:
- 300 grams of crumbled cookies
- 100 Gramm Butter
- 50 grams of peanut butter
Caramel layer:
- 180 grams of sugar
- 80 Gramm Butter
- 1-2 tbsp water
- 80 grams of cream
- 380 grams of peanuts
Chocolate layer
- 400 grams of dark chocolate
- 400 grams of milk chocolate
- 80 grams of peanut butter
Make your own Snickers ice cream bars:
- Line a rectangular baking dish with baking paper or use a silicone mold.
- Melt half of the ingredients for the chocolate layer in a water bath and pour into the baking dish.
- Place in the fridge until the chocolate has set.
- For the cookie layer, heat butter and peanut butter, mix with the crumbled cookies and spread evenly over the chocolate layer. Put back in the fridge.
- Heat the sugar for the caramel layer over low heat until it becomes liquid. Add the water and mix well.
- Gradually add the butter, stirring constantly. Add the cream and mix until you get a creamy mixture.
- Mix the caramel sauce with the peanuts and add to the cookie layer.
- Finally, melt the remaining chocolate with the peanut butter and spread over the bars.
- Place in the freezer for 1-2 hours, cut into the desired size and enjoy!
Recipe for vegan Snickers ice cream bars
Are you following a vegan diet or simply want to reduce your consumption of dairy products? Then you should definitely make these vegan Snickers ice cream bars yourself!
Ice cream ingredients for 12 bars:
- 150 grams of cashews, soaked in water overnight
- 170 grams of maple syrup
- 1 can coconut milk, refrigerated overnight
- 30 grams of peanut butter
- 60 grams of vanilla soy yogurt
- 1/2 TL Vanilleextrakt
Peanut caramel:
- 240 grams of peanut butter
- 170 grams of maple syrup
- 1 tbsp plant milk of your choice
- 150 grams of peanuts
- 1 tsp sea salt
Chocolate icing:
- 300 grams of dark chocolate without sugar
Make vegan Snickers ice cream bars yourself:
- Put all the ingredients for the ice cream in a blender and puree until creamy.
- Line a square baking dish with a diameter of 20 centimeters with baking paper and spread the ice cream mixture into it.
- Place in the freezer for 2 hours.
- In the meantime, mix the ingredients for the caramel layer except for the peanuts until smooth and spread over the ice cream layer.
- Scatter the peanuts on top and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Cut 12 bars and melt the chocolate in the microwave.
- Dip the bars individually into the chocolate, freeze for another 30 minutes and enjoy!
Make your own yogurt ice cream bars
Perfect for breakfast or as ahealthy snackfor on the go - these yoghurt ice cream bars not only taste heavenly, but with 90 calories per serving they are real figure flatterers!
Base Ingredients for 6 bars:
- 360 grams of Greek yogurt
- 40 grams of honey
- 80 grams each of fresh strawberries and blueberries
- 30-40 grams of coconut flakes
- 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
Preparation:
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix the yogurt, honey and vanilla well in a bowl and spread evenly on the baking tray.
- Cut the berries into small pieces and add them on top.
- Sprinkle with coconut flakes and place in the freezer for 3 hours.
- Cut into 18 pieces and enjoy!

Crunchy Oreo cookies as ice cream bars for dessert – doesn’t that sound perfect?
Ingredients for 8 Oreo ice cream bars:
- 460 grams of cream
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 12 Oreo Kekse, zerkleinert
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 340 grams of dark chocolate
- 20 grams of coconut oil
Preparation:
- Using a hand mixer, beat the cream at high speed for 2 minutes until soft peaks form.
- Add vanilla extract and condensed milk and beat until stiff for another 1-2 minutes.
- Fold in the crumbled Oreo cookies and mix well.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the ice cream mixture on it. Freeze for 2-3 hours.
- Cut small bars and melt the chocolate with the coconut oil.
- Dip the Oreo ice cream bars into the chocolate, put them in the freezer for another 30 minutes and enjoy!
Healthy and delicious: make your own protein ice cream bars

Ingredients for 13 protein ice cream bars:
- 200 grams of almond flour
- 90 grams of fine oat flakes
- 90 grams of dates, pitted

- 170 grams of honey
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation:

- Add the peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Now pour the dough into the baking dish and freeze for 30-40 minutes.
- Spread the ice cream on the base and place in the freezer for another 4 hours.
