  • 250 ml milk
  • 250 ml Sahne
  • 200 grams of Edam or mountain cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices using a vegetable slicer or in the food processor.
  • Whisk cream, milk and garlic cloves together in a bowl.
  • Season the potatoes with salt and pepper and place them in the baking dish.
  • Pour the cream mixture over it and season with a little salt if desired.
  • Finally sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.
  • And voilà – your classic potato gratin is ready!

Bean stew with tomatoes and spinach

At just €2.50 per serving, full of flavor and nutrients, this bean stew with tomatoes is a healthy and affordable recipe that the whole family will love.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 medium onion, chopped finely
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 x 400 grams of diced canned tomatoes
  • 2 x 400 grams of canned white beans
  • 200 grams of baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 bunch fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté onions for 6-7 minutes until translucent.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add white beans and spinach and simmer for another 6-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with basil.

  • 800 grams of carrots
  • 200 grams of potatoes, peeled
  • 2 medium onions, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced
  • 800 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 bunch of fresh coriander
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and sauté onions for 5-6 minutes.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add carrots, potatoes and vegetable broth to the pot and season with salt and pepper,
  • Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
  • Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until vegetables begin to soften.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and add fresh cilantro.
  • Puree finely with a hand blender or in the food processor and your vegan carrot soup is ready.

  • Add rice to the pan and fry for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Whisk eggs and soy sauce together in a bowl.
  • Gently push the mixture to the edge of the pan and mix in the eggs.
  • Season the fried rice with pepper and enjoy.

  • Whisk egg in a separate bowl.
