Shots recipes for the classic shot drink in liquid form

If you like it more classic or are you looking for recipes that you can prepare spontaneously, then the liquid versions are the best choice. It's great to experiment with the taste. Therefore, the following ideas are intended as examples only and can be modified as desired. Let yourself be tempted to create your own creations or take one of the following original shots recipes.

"Alabama"

For 10 shots:

  • 140 ml Sloe Gin
  • 140 ml Amaretto
  • 140 ml Southern Comfort Whiskeylikör
  • 70g orange juice

You have to put all the ingredients in a blender cup that you first fill with ice. Shake vigorously and well and pour the finished drink into the glasses. The shots can also be seasoned with lime juice and grenadine as desired (15 g of grenadine and lime juice per 30 g of Amaretto and 30 g of Southern Comfort). A splash of lemon juice also makes the drinks even tastier. As you can see, Shot's recipes can be modified at any time to experiment with them.

Apocalypse now

For 10 shots:

  • 140 ml Dry Vermouth
  • 140 ml Tequila
  • 140 ml Irish cream liqueur

If you are looking for ideas with tequila, you can try this shots recipe. Pour ice into a large mixing bowl and add the first two ingredients. Mix them together by shaking the cup. Pour the mix into shot glasses and then fill them with the liqueur. You can use the back of a spoon to pour the liqueur into the glass. This recipe can also be modified. The shots taste even more aromatic if you leave out the dry vermouth and instead combine the other two drinks in equal parts.

Bubblegum flavored

For 10 shots:

  • 140 ml Irish cream liqueur
  • 140 ml Bananenliqueur
  • 140 ml blue Curaçao liqueur

If you prefer a more playful taste, you can also opt for bubblegum-flavored shots recipes. One of them is this. Like the previous ones, the shots are made in a mixing cup filled with ice. They can then be served directly in shot glasses. The Irish cream liqueur can also be replaced with RumChata (rum liqueur) if desired. Instead of banana liqueur, you can also use strawberry, raspberry or grape liqueur or any other fruit liqueur.

Black Rose

Tequila with a difference! Tequila Rose is a strawberry liqueur that is very popular. It can be used wonderfully for shots recipes, as can be seen here. It's actually abouta cocktail, which can also be divided into shot glasses and enjoyed like a shot. Are you looking for ideas with vodka? This will give you a truly original drink!

For two cocktail glasses:

  • 210 ml Tequila Rose
  • 210 ml black vodka

The preparation is quick and easy. Pour equal parts of the tequila into cocktail or shot glasses and then pour the vodka on top. This should create layers, but depending on the liqueur this might not work. In this case, you can also try it the other way around (vodka first, then liqueur). When stirring, interesting swirls are created, as shown in the picture. If layering doesn't work, this is also a nice serving option. You can also easily make black vodka yourself by using black food coloring. Instead of Tequila Rose, you can also use other pink liqueur.

With sour apple schnapps

For 2 cocktails:

  • 60 ml Whiskey
  • 60 ml sour apple schnapps
  • 60 ml Cranberrysaft
  • Apple to decorate

All ingredients except the apple are mixed together in a mixing glass filled with ice and then poured into either two cocktail glasses or several shot glasses. The cocktail can be further refined with lemonade. Ginger ale is also good for this purpose. Just try what you like best.

Lurking tiger

For 10 shots:

  • 210 ml lychee liqueur
  • 210ml White Tequila

Both drinks are mixed together in a mixing cup filled with ice and then the glasses are distributed. Instead of tequila, you can also use vodka if you like. You get an even more interesting aroma if you also add lime juice to the mixing bowl. Lychee liqueur comes in a wide variety of varieties, although the colors also differ. You can also prepare the lychee liqueur yourself by mixing vodka or tequila with some lychee fruits, grated lime peel and simple syrup.

The grasshopper

  • 140 ml Mente Cream
  • 140 ml crème de cacao (or chocolate vodka)
  • 140 ml Irish Cream or RumChata

Mix all liqueurs in a mixing bowl filled with ice. Depending on which liqueurs you use or what color they are, the color of the end result may vary. The goal is a grass-green shot. If the cocoa liqueur is too brown, this can affect the color. It is best to use transparent liqueurs. But creamy versions are also very popular. Ultimately, the color will not affect the impressive taste.

Jägerbombs as a popular variant

For a drink:

  • 45 ml Jägermeister
  • 1/2 Dose Red Bull Energy Drink

Most party fans know these shots. Here the two ingredients are not just mixed together. Instead, you need two glasses per person: a larger one for the Red Bull and a small shot glass for the Jägermeister. Fill both with the specified amount. And here's the interesting part: the Jägermeister and the glass are dropped into the large glass and the resulting drink is drunk immediately. When drinking, you should be careful not to hit the shot glass on your teeth. Alternatively, you can of course simply mix both drinks together. This is preferred by some.

Red Snapper

For 10 shots:

  • 140 ml Whiskey
  • 140 ml Amaretto liqueur
  • 280 ml Cranberrysaft

Fill a blender cup with ice. The ingredients are then added and shaken so that they mix well together. The drink is then divided into glasses. Instead of regular whiskey, you can also use vanilla, apple or peach flavored whiskey.

Melon dream

For 10 shots:

  • 70 ml Melonenliqueur
  • 70 ml Ananassaft
  • 140 ml Vodka

The ingredients are placed in a mixing bowl with ice, shaken and divided into glasses. You can make the melon shot recipes particularly impressive by getting a honeydew melon with the drink and cutting balls out of it. You can then skewer these and serve with the shots. This way the delicious shot becomes even more aromatic. Kiwi also goes well with it.
