Preparation:

  • First, peel the onion and potatoes.

  • Heat the olive oil in a pot and fry the onion and bacon.
  • Add the potatoes and carrots.
  • Add the lentils, broth and bay leaves.
  • Simmer the soup over medium heat for 30 minutes.

  • 1 tsp paprika powder (hot)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • Pfeffer
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Parsley

Preparation:

  • Chop the onions and garlic finely.
  • Cut the potatoes, carrots and peppers into small pieces.
  • Heat the butter in a saucepan and fry the beef cubes for 5 minutes.
  • Add the onion and garlic and continue to sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth and red wine, season with salt, pepper, sugar, paprika powder, bay leaves, tomato paste and marjoram and let the soup simmer for 60 minutes.
  • Add the potatoes, carrots and peppers and cook for another 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
  • Garnish the soup with parsley and serve hot.
