Who theDiscovered embroideryand now wants to practice diligently, flowers and other floral motifs are exactly the right choice. Because floral motifs are perfectfor beginnerssuitable. Although there are also more complicated variants with a 3D look, there are also numerous simple instructions that you can use to conjure up small accents, wreaths or entire flower meadows on fabric. We have put together some of these instructions for you to embroider different flowers. Below you will also find some templates for transferring pretty floral motifs to the fabric. So you can get started straight away!
Simply embroider flowers with a straight stitch
The first flowers are somewhat reminiscent of violets and are embroidered using simple, straight stitches. First draw the flowers. Then pierce from below through one of the points where the petal and the center circle touch. Then pass the needle right next to this point through the fabric and at the end of the petal again. As you do this, keep the thread straight along the outside of the petal and let it run to the side below the needle.
Pull the needle all the way through and the thread tight. Then push the needle through the fabric above the thread, fixing it in place. Continue like this until the petal is finished and repeat the steps with the other petals. You can also use different shades of color. You can also embroider the yellow inside of the flowers in the same way or you can use French knots (instructions below).
