Folding 3D origami tulip
Now we would like to show you a slightly more complicated folding instructions for a 3D tulip as an origami flower. However, don't worry. Although this tulip looks more difficult to make, it always turns out well and quickly if you follow the steps in the folding instructions carefully. Check out the instructions and make an ever-fresh paper flower for your spring decorations.
In these instructions only the flower of the tulip is made and a wooden skewer is used as the stem. For the paper flower, all you need is a square sheet of paper or colored paper in any color. The recommended size for the paper square is 15×15 centimeters.
First fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically once and open the folds again. Now turn the sheet over and fold and unfold the diagonals. Then fold the square into a triangle by bringing the left and right centers together. The white side of the paper should remain inside. Now fold the left and right corners of the triangle up to the center fold, turn the paper over and repeat the step on the back. Now turn the top right layer to the left and do the same thing again on the back.
Then fold the right and left tips down to form the center fold. Then turn the paper over and repeat the step on the back. Now you should insert one side into the tab on the other side at the front and back. Hold the pinned areas firmly and blow into the resulting hole at the bottom until the flower inflates. Now all you have to do is pull the upward-pointing tips down a little and bend them to form the petals of the tulip. Finally, glue the wooden skewer to the hole and the origami flower is ready to give as a gift or decorate. You can even make a whole bouquet of flowers yourself using several of these flowers.
