Even 19 years after his death, Ayrton Senna casts a shadow. Described as the best racing driver, he won three Formula 1 world championships with McLaren before his life and career were tragically cut short at just 34 years old. One of those keeping Senna's legend alive is the Swiss watchmaker Hublot, which has now produced another series of watches in honor of the great racing driver. The latest watch in Hublot's Senna collection is the MP-06, which is said to be the most complicated yet.
The manufacturer received the blessing of Senna's sister Viviane to produce the watch. It is the fourth in Hublot's Senna collection. Their predecessors are the successful Big Bang Senna (2007), Big Bang Foudroyante Senna (2009) and King Power Ayrton Senna, which was released at the Grand Prix in 2010 (it would have been Senna's 50th birthday).

The new watch in Hublot's Senna collection, the MP-06 Senna, represents a tourbillon movement consisting of 155 individual parts and a 5-day power reserve indicator. The tonneau case features the Senna logo at 9 o'clock on the sapphire dial.

The new watch is available in either gold, titanium or black PVD titanium. Only 41 of each were made and there is also a tiny replica of Senna's helmet.
