Custom-made built-in cupboards for hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms as space-saving furnishings

Itmodern, minimalist stylel at its best - that's what this apartment, located in Poznan in Poland, shows. Despite its relatively small size, the gem does not lack cozy and relatively spacious furniture, including a kitchen with a kitchen island, the good old custom-made built-in wardrobe in each room, as well as a comfortable sofa and a large dining table. The built-in cupboards in particular make perfect use of the space and offer important storage space to stay true to the minimalist style and avoid chaos. We'll show you how the designers used built-in wardrobes in the different rooms.

Practical built-in wardrobe made to measure and screen that can be pulled out

We have already mentioned that the apartment is basically not lacking in comfort. But all these living zones in...open living roomhave their price, because there is no free wall left for a wall unit with a television and everything else. That's why the designers at mode:lina came up with a clever alternative. They used the space in the ceiling to integrate a remote-controlled screen that can be rolled out when needed and stored back in the ceiling later. The opening for this is located directly in front of the custom-made built-in cupboard, which can be found in the hallway and is also part of the wall paneling in the hallway, kitchen and living room.

The custom-made built-in wardrobe is one of the many warm onesWooden elements of the apartment, which alternate with gray wall colors and upholstery as well as silver metals. This color contrast definitely attracts everyone's attention, as it guarantees a cozy atmosphere despite the minimalist style. The hallway floor is visually divided into two halves: one side is made of wood, while light gray tiles decorate the other half on the kitchen side.

The function of the built-in wardrobe

The built-in closetin the hallwayAt first glance it seems to make up the entire wall. However, this appearance is deceptive. In reality, it is a combination of built-in cupboards, wall paneling and doors. It also extends into the kitchen, so that the built-in cupboard in the kitchen also comes in handy. For example, there is also space for the refrigerator in the built-in cupboard. In the hallway, an integrated open shelf accommodates the remaining devices.

The color scheme changes in the bedroom. There, emphasis is placed on warmer nuances. The only neutral color is the built-in wardrobe in the bedroom, which was integrated into a niche. This room remains minimalistic thanks to the sparse use of decoration. Only a large wall mirror and the ceiling and wall lights in contrasting black decorate the room next to the furniture.

The bathroom built-in cupboard was also installedIntegrated wall niches. White mosaic tiles decorate the area with the two sinks, while the cupboards to the left and right of them create a contrast with their warm wood. All other walls, including the shower, have a gray color like in the living area, so that the bathroom largely combines the colors from both the living room and the bedroom.

The study

Also definitely worth mentioning is the chic study, which again has a...customized shelfadorns the wall behind the desk with cupboard compartments. What is striking here is not only the contrast between gray and wood, but above all the interplay between modern and ancient. The desk and desk chair are unique pieces made of solid wood that make the room something very special.
