Do you want to change? Then this Indian Spaghetti Bolognese is just the thing for you. There is the simple recipe here.
With Spaghetti Bolognese, my mother was able to make me happy as a child. And even today the Italian classic is one of my absolute favorite dishes. In the meantime, however, I often try out new recipes and I came across this Indian -inspired Bolognese, which is often cooked in many households in England.
Here, too, the main ingredients are minced meat, pasta and tomatoes. But through the right spices you turn the whole into a heavenly spicy soul warmer that is second to none. So you have never tried Spaghetti Bolognese.
Do you feel more like the classic?
Recipe for an Indian -inspired Bolognese
Do you like it spicy, but not spicy? Then avoid the chilipulver or grab the appropriate level of sharpness when you season. In the Indian spice mix Garam Masala, chilli is usually already included.
Ingredients for 4 portions:
- 500 g minced meat
- 500 g pasta
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 TL caraway
- 1 TL GARAM MASALA (you get here at Amazon*)
- 1 TL coriander, ground
- 1/2 TL chilipulver
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper
- 400 g of full tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 400 ml of vegetable broth
- 2 away
- Optional: fresh coriander and/or grated parmesan
And that's so easy:
1. Cook the noodles in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions.
2. Peel and dice the onions and garlic or chop them small. Sweat both with a little oil in a deep pan.
3. Add the minced meat (e.g. lamb), season with salt, pepper, caraway, garam masala, coriander, chilli and basil. Fry crumbly.
4. Then stir in the tomato paste and roast briefly. Then deglaze everything with spacious tomatoes and vegetable broth. Simmer the bolognese for about 30 minutes over medium heat with the lid closed.
5. Then taste the sauce with salt and pepper and serve over the pasta. It also tastes of fresh, chopped coriander and parmesan.
