Norwegian architects have designed an extraordinary and individual workspace for a writer in Oslo. The highlight is a panoramic window in the study, which provides a direct view of the garden. All of this is not far from your own house, in the backyard or garden. The idea of being able to do your job close to your own home is certainly a dream for many working people. That's why this small, unique cabin will definitely inspire many freelancers and self-employed people.
What could be better for a writer than a picture window in front of him?Desk in the room? Maybe a designer desk made of solid, transparent glass. The focus of the only room in the small house is exactly this image - almost unrealistic and very special. The client's activity is placed in focus and takes the central place in the interior design. Any useless decoration is missing and instead you can see a practical wooden construction - a staircase and shelf in one.
The staircase with artistic railing made of solid rope leads to the sleeping area, which is also equipped with it. The space under the stairs was optimally used as storage space. The steps merge into compartments and shelves of a wall of shelves with the same size and proportions. There is also a small bathroom. Everything there has been reduced to the essentials without any additional decorative elements or frills.
The small house, viewed from inside and out, is in itself an effective example of modern contemporary architecture. No ordinary straight walls or ceilings can be found and no rectangular floor plan characterizes the house. The hut is clad in dark wood on the outside and inside. The facade is painted black and the interior walls are just stained. This extraordinary workplace appears distinctively individual and custom-designed. The writer can retreat there wonderfully to work on his works undisturbed and to immerse himself in his thoughts.
