Contemporary architecture includes the open living concept, the floor-to-ceiling windows and glass walls, the natural materials or materials with a natural look, reduced furnishings and a high level of living comfort. Following these principles, the architects at Mf+Arquitetos designed a one-story luxury home in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The outer walls of the house are made entirely of glass and airy wooden lattice panels provide privacy from the inside, creating a beautiful background. The designers designed the interior in soft brown tones and fine materials such as dark walnut wood, black and brown natural stone and comfortable furniture upholstered in leather or linen. Lush walls covered in ferns add a fresh touch to the interior.
Privacy protection for the inside: movable wooden lattice panels
The house is around 130 square meters in size, but creates the impression of spacious rooms that gently flow into the garden. There is actually no barrier between inside and outside because the walls are either movable or made of glass. This is how the inside of the house worksas a whole, which is divided into areas according to design. The materials used are the same for every room and wood and natural stone dominate. The main accents are exotic collectibles and antique small furniture that the homeowners brought from far away places.
As the main material for the design of the house, wood is used in a very diverse way. From natural to hand-finished to an elegant walnut look, the material fascinates with its diversity and possible uses. Thanks to the privacy protection for inside andthe lush green vertical surfacesA cozy atmosphere is conjured up that invites you to go outside.
The play of light created by the interior privacy screen made of wooden mesh contributes to the unique atmosphere in this luxury home. Together with the items of exotic origin, a unique living ambience is created that the homeowners are sure to enjoy and appreciate. The furnishings made from fine materials offer functionality and a touch of luxury, which perfectly completes the special room design.
