This chic apartment relies on the elegance of neutral colors and presents a fascinating material mix of wood, exposed concrete, marble and metal, combined with a harmonious lighting concept. The interior design was created for a young couple with a small child and is completely in line with their needs and personal wishes. High functionality and an attractive appearance were on the family's wish list. They shared their ideas with the professional and after several meetings the apartment concept was ready.
Materials in focus: wood, marble and metal in the living area
The apartment extends over two levels, which are connected by a spiral staircase. The floor plan leads directly from the hallway area into the dining area with an open kitchen. The living area adjoins this. An opaque room divider in combination with an open bioethanol fireplace separates the living area from the dining area.
Only natural materials such as wood, marble and metal were used throughout the apartment. Their selection is not only due to their attractive appearance, but is also characterized by their longevity and low maintenance requirements.
The solid oak parquet brings warmth and comfort to every room and impresses with its unique grain and pleasant color. Apartment owners will enjoy this high-quality floor covering for years to come. Oak parquet also offers incredibly good thermal insulation due to its heat retention ability. Marble and metal, on the other hand, form a beautiful contrast to the warm wood and create a harmonious balance, like in nature.
Elegant lines and a fascinating mix of materials set the tone in the elegant, spacious island kitchen with matt gray cabinet fronts. The handle-free design results in an unobtrusive and modern appearance. Marble in combination with wood gives the kitchen a charming and chic touch. The warm LED light provides an additional visual accent.
The upper floor can be reached via the spacious spiral staircase, which is also color coordinated with the furnishings. At the top you reach a narrow but very bright hallway. While the parents' bedroom is decorated in dark colors with a dressing room accessible through a sliding door, the children's room impresses with its bright, airy and friendly atmosphere.
A few accents are also planned for the little princess that will give the children's room a particularly romantic touch, such as the four-poster bed with sheer white curtains and the LED starry sky.
When designing the two bathrooms, the focus is once again on the material mix of exposed concrete, wood and marble. The indirect lighting ensures pleasant, even illumination and does not dazzle, but rather creates additional effects.
