Don't forget! This classic also remains relevant as a fashion trend in winter

We are talking about classics when we enjoy their repetitions. Far from being annoyed, your heart beats a little faster with every comeback, your mouth may even show a small smile. Then you don't want to talk about boredom, but rather about recollection. From the focus on the good. To the reinforced.

We know that too: Classics differ quite cleverly from those items of clothing that you get tired of after one season. They are a joy every winter - and now they are a moment that you can be happy about. In the cold season, not only knitwear but also leather blazers belong in this drawer. They are the casual and equally well-dressed alternative to sweaters, initially a transitional jacket, but then quickly also a good idea for indoors. And therefore once again present on the catwalks for autumn/winter 2024/25!

Leather blazers are returning as a fashion trend – yay!

Do we really need to talk about those clothes that have been around for a long time and keep coming back? But of course! After all, they are what make up our wardrobe, especially in difficult seasons - aka the cold ones. Leather blazers should definitely not be forgotten, but should be integrated into the next outfit now at the latest.

Maybe, like me, you already have one or two models in your wardrobe. Good for you! You can now pull this out again and make it the focus of your winter look. This is not only worthwhile in terms of warmth, but also for a casual outfit far away from the omnipresent knitwear in winter. Important with classics: Nothing is forbidden, but a lot is allowed! Of course, the style continues to evolve here too - but that doesn't mean you have to get rid of old models. On the contrary: let yourself be inspired by the current fashion trends on the runway, but continue to wear the pieces you have already purchased.

The leather blazer is now proving to be such a versatile fashion trend

Unlike in recent seasons, leather blazers are currently less angular and distant from the body. Designers not only play with silhouettes, but also with colors, patterns and materials. What this looks like has already been shown to us on the runways: Ferragamo and Versace focus on the waist and bring the femininely cut leather blazer back onto the scene and the catwalk. Marine Serre, Roberto Cavalli and Luisa Spagnoli are a bit more experimental and interpret the classic with an eye-catching (snake) pattern and in bright shades such as purple and red. But plain-colored leather blazers in a complete look also seem to be an issue - they give the impression, for example Ami Paris with a leather suit in cream or Akris with a variant in brown.

Max Mara reminds us that these new versions do not compete with the classic in its oversized cut and timeless black, but rather merely provide company. In the Atelier campaign, the Italian fashion house shows the black leather blazer with XXL lapels in a monochrome cream look - a style that is guaranteed to work all winter long.

Always stylish: leather blazers belong in every wardrobe

Especially in the cold season, you want to keep it simple when it comes to styling - and focus on the most important thing: How do I stay warm all day long?! However, to ensure that this requirement does not undermine your sense of style, we recommend matching leather trousers with the leather blazer fashion trend. You can't get warmer or more stylish than this winter. Alternatively, you can style the classic monochrome piece with knitwear, which also looks incredibly elegant and supports you even in icy temperatures.

By the way, we discovered a particularly beautiful look at Akris on the runway: the Swiss label combines a patent leather coat with a leather blazer. Sounds like that at firsttoo much, but looks extremely stylish thanks to the same color and the combination of different surfaces. And definitely ensures that you don't get too much of your favorite classic this season either!
