The collection of Cartier is moving into a new light: surprising, provocative and modern - thanks to unexpected encounters. The result is expressive creations that show the personality of the animals as excellently as their vitality. Through playing with graphics, shapes and optical illusions, the animals merge with the surrounding, imaginary landscapes. That is the basic idea behind Nature Sauvage.

The panther collier
The Panther has been a key element from Cartier since 1914 when the first big cat was seen on a wristwatch decorated with diamonds and onyx details. In the course of time, snakes, blue parrots, a griffin, but also fantasy people like a kite were added to the 13 different panthers. Whether mythological beasts or wild animals, the motifs are all manufactured with the highest precision.
For "Chapter 3" of the haute joallerie collection "Nature Sauvage", the Panther exudes an electrifying aura as a collier with its emerald eye. The stylized accents on the panther head, as well as the body of the big cat are speckled with onyx and diamonds and neat the neck gently. Below is an emerald from Sambia of 10.10 carat. This shows the high craftsmanship: by adding a second-Alements -at the end of which another panther head is emblazoned -the creation of Colliers turns into a completely new shoulder jewelry. In addition, the element can also be worn separately as a bangle on the wrist.
