Women have to be celebrated - actually not only on one day a year, but every day. And yet March 8th with World Women's Day always reminds what we have done in the past few decades, where we are today and where we still want to go. The Burdaverlag celebrated this special day with an exclusive dinner in the German hunting and fishing museum in Munich.
On March 7, 2025 - strictly speaking, an evening before World Women's Day - over 130 exciting women from culture, sport and politics - were invited - for a moment of pausing, celebration, the get -together. “You might think there are only a few holes to stuff and then we made it with equality. But unfortunately it is not. And I think we have to work harder than ever that we do not make any steps, but progress, ”says Elisabeth Burda Furtwängler, partner and board member of Hubert Burda Media.

Great conversations, music and inspiration: The Women Dinner from Burdaverlag
As part of an exclusive dinner, the women who belong together came together on March 7. Women who created great ones. Who inspire. And move the world in her division. After a catchy intro from the managing director of Burda Verlag Manuela Kampp-Wirtz, not only started the selected dinner in the German hunting and fishing museum and conversations on the tables, but also an evening full of highlights-such as a panel talk with DFB vice president for equality & diversity Celia Šašić, climate researcher and astronaut Insa Thiele-Eich and Dr. Angelika Niebler, deputy party leader of the CSU.
Leslie Clio, who opened the dance floor after the dinner, also provided a musical performance. The Women Dinner from Burda Verlag was not only about inspiring conversations and new food for thought, but also celebrating that distinguishes World Women's Day every year.

From women for women: These partners are behind the exclusive Women Dinner
In addition to the inspiring women who come together for an exchange at Women Dinner every year and celebrate together, the evening would not be possible without the important partners. Riani, Mini, Melitta, Doc Berger and the European Parliament heralded World Women's Day with Burdaverlag and made it a moment that guests are happy to think back to. In the end, it is exactly what the day of action teaches us every year - and what women have long understood best: it is not possible alone - together you don't just achieve more, it is also fun at the same time!
